THE GENO SHOW
JULY 31, 2025
Geno Luketic, of White Oak, signed up for our “Podcasting for Tweens Workshop” at Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport earlier this summer because he plans to have his own podcast when he is older. He already chose a name for it - “The Geno Show.”
The workshop, led by independent podcast producer Casey Georgi, taught interviewing techniques, best practices for recording high-quality audio and editing. Participants, including Luketic, also designed cover art since marketing is part of launching a successful podcast.
Luketic will be entering 7th grade at Founders Hall Middle School this fall and chose his grandmother, Peg Luketic, to interview. During his conversation, he learned what her maiden name was and what her life was like when she was his age.
He plans to encourage more of his peers to embrace podcasting. “You get to know someone a little better,” said Luketic.
